Needling practice continues with a focus on the more challenging points and learning to manipulate qi according to traditional methods of tonification and dispersion (bu & xie). Another 100 points are chosen from all parts of the body to familiarize the student with a wide range of points and needling experience. Students develop the ability to apply all techniques accurately and safely on any body. Through demonstration and practice, this course cultivates the clinical ability to diagnose and treat disease conditions using the concepts of classical Chinese medicine. Prerequisite(s): CM 614 .
