Essential skills for an Ayurvedic educator and counselor involve a thorough understanding on how to compare and relate the state of balanced health with the state of deviation from health to determine the root causes of manifestation of balanced health. This course provides basic information of Ayurveda’s manifold evaluation methods including the importance of psychosomatic evaluations, tongue examination, theory of pulse examination, dosha assessment for the skin, hair, and nails for optimizing health. Students will learn how to perform an evaluation that encompasses the specific aspects of origin and development of health and specific conditions of deviated health.
