GSGH 531 - Social Justice and Human Rights

In this course, students explore the concepts of justice, conflict and social change and examine the ways in which political, economic, media, education, and other institutions and systems create challenges for justice. Students will develop strategies for change including activism, advocacy, assistance, and community organizing. Students explore social change on levels from grassroots campaigns to international diplomacy and policy work.
