Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the United States; followed not far
behind by chronic and infectious pulmonary disease. What role does naturopathic
medicine have in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular and pulmonary
disease? In this course, we will develop the skills and knowledge to diagnose and treat
acute and chronic cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions using nutrition, mind-body
medicine, homeopathy, botanical medicine, and pharmacology.
