OCL 611 - Chinese Herbal Medicinary Practicum

During their study of herbal medicine, students have an opportunity to enhance their familiarity with the preparation and dispensing of medicinal substances. Under the guidance of supervisors, students assist in the
operation of the college’s OCOM Herbal Medicinary and participate in preparing granule and bulk herb formulas. Through this process, students learn identification, sorting, preparation, and storage of individual herbs, as well as combinations of herbs for health conditions. (Note: only MACM and DACM students take this course.) Prerequisite(s): CL539, CM519 Corequisite(s): CM521
