Utilizing Chinese dietary principles in conjunction with acupuncture and herbal treatment will enable the practitioner to better aid their patients in achieving “balance” and improved health. This course emphasizes
Chinese classification of foods into categories and combining foods with Chinese herbs to create clinically effective recipes. Foods that are to be eaten or avoided during particular disorders are discussed and a portion of the class involves hands-on preparation of special dishes for specific illnesses.
