OCL 626 - MAc Internship I Credit(s): 2.57
In this first experience of clinical internship, MAc degree program the student works under the supervision of experienced licensed acupuncturists and are responsible for greeting their patients, explaining their role,
conducting patient histories and exams, documenting all patient progress and treatment interactions, and proposing to the clinical supervisor a diagnosis and treatment plan for the patient. After the clinical supervisor
examines a patient and reviews the diagnosis and treatment plan, the student is then responsible for explaining the treatment plan to the patient and administering the treatment, which the supervisor observes as necessary to ensure proper treatment. Prerequisite(s): OCL625
