OAC 657 - Japanese Meridian Therapy

This class is designed to introduce the student to the theory and practice of Japanese Meridian Therapy (keiraku chiryo). A primary focus will be the work of Shudo Denmei. However, the work of Fukaya, Mizutani, Sawada, Manaka, and others will also be referenced. Pulse diagnosis, meridian palpation, hara diagnosis, needle techniques, and moxibustion will be covered and practiced with a focus on clinical application. The class will also introduce the structural therapy of Dr. Hashimoto (sotai). Prerequisite(s): AC533; OAC613; OAC614
